Q. My plant arrived, and it is in a little plastic pot with a fiber material surrounding the roots. Should I remove the plant from the pot? A: There is no single answer for this question. With many aquarium freshwater plants, the roots may already be growing out of the pot and removing the pot would be too disruptive to the delicate root structure.
