I know I talk quite a bit about toys that keep my dog, Bailey, active and chewing. Even after 5 years, he still acts like a puppy, and he loves to run, chase, and chew. However, Bailey is also a great napper and snuggle pup. He loves to run and get rid of a bunch of energy, then curl up on the couch and zonk out. He even likes to just curl up and rest his head on my leg. However, one of the things that I think is extremely cute is his tendency to grab a stuffed toy and curl up with it. I know dogs like to rest on pillows and other soft surfaces, but I always laugh when I see Bailey sleeping with his soft toy, just like a little kid. I just didn’t know the Skinneez Bungee dog toy would turn into Bailey’s snuggle toy!

When I first brought home one of the Skinneez Bungee dog toys, my thought was more about playing tug than providing a stuffie. The Skinneez Bungee line all have a super soft exterior, 2 squeakers, and a bungee cord inside that has provided quite a bit of fun. Between fetching the toy, shaking his head with it in his mouth, and playing tug, Bailey has enjoyed his Skinneez Bungee a lot. However, when the day is over, he likes to carry it up on the couch, snuggle in to a comfortable spot, and put his head on the toy. It doesn’t take long for snoring sounds to come from his end of the couch, with his Fox Bungee toy wrapped around his paws. Talk about a sound sleeper!

I couldn’t be more happy with the Skinneez Bungee Fox that I gave Bailey. It gets a lot of use, both for playing hard and sleeping hard. If you are looking for a dog toy that your dog will love all the time, rather than just when he wants to expend energy, check out the Skinneez Bungee toys, available in Fox, Racoon, Skunk, and Leopard shapes. I’m sure it will become your pup’s favorite toy to have around all the time, too!

  • My dog is 1yr old and killing my other pets. How I can control it's aggressiveness.

  • Hi Sherry – I would suggest getting help from a professional trainer. There could be pent-up energy that needs to be released via extreme exercise and training, there could be some big-time territorial issues, or there could be some issues with your dog being really shy and turning to killing to protect his space. No matter what, you need to get some professional help for your pup!
