Oh, I’m so glad I finally broke down and bought the one of the Bouncing Burry Buddies. I chose the beaver, since I live in Beavercreek and marching band season is in full practice swing. I know, nerd. I am guessing my dog, Bailey, wouldn’t care whether his dog toy was the racoon or the fox in comparison to the beaver, but I felt like showing some school spirit.

In any case, the Bouncing Burrow Buddy. This ingenious dog toy is free of stuffing, has a squeaky rubber ball in the head, has a fairly strong squeaker in the tail, and seems to have a really durable stretch of material holding the two ends together. The “fur” of the toy is also pretty soft, too. For a dog like Bailey that loves to chew, cuddle, fetch, fling, and shake (we call it the “death rattle”), this toy is perfect. The Beaver Bouncing Burry Buddy has been in the household for over a week, and it has yet to lose any features. Eyes are still intact, ears are not torn, felt teeth are still in place. And, even more impressive, the squeaker is still in the tail / the ball is still in the toy’s head.

When Bailey plays with this Bouncing Burrow toy, he likes to run with it, shake it in a “death rattle,” cuddle with it, fetch it, and just all around give it a good workout. I will be sitting on the couch, and Bailey will bring the toy up to me, flip his head up, and the toy ends up in my lap. Guess it’s time to play fetch! Even more than a week after getting the toy, Bailey brings it to me to play. Last night, I was following my baby around as she crawled and was trying to get into things. Bailey comes to join us, carrying his Bouncing Burrow Beaver, ready to fetch if he got the chance, but otherwise satisfied to chew and cuddle. I think this dog toy gets an A+ in Bailey’s eyes!
