Have you ever had a cat or kitten that scratches where you’d rather he didn’t, or when playing with your cat do you often end up with scratches on your hands or arms? Are you not adding a cat to add to your family specifically because you are afraid of your furniture being shredded? If your answer to any of those questions is yes, Soft Claws may be exactly the product you need in your home.

Soft Claws is an innovative product that will change your life if you have scratching problems with your cat and you do not want to de-claw him. Easy to use soft vinyl caps glue over your cat’s nails in minutes. Your kitty can still scratch all he wants and can still enjoy scratching posts as well as extend and retract his claws normally. Cats don’t seem to notice they are wearing them at all. They stay on for up to 3 months at a time and are shed naturally as your pet’s nails grow out.

Soft Claws come in several colors, and look like a bit like nail polish. Each package can last for up to a year, depending on the rate at which your cat sheds his or her claws. This product is also great for households with children, as your cat cannot accidentally scratch the kids when playing. So, if you are at your wit’s end with your current cat’s claws, or need something to help you with your fears of bringing a cat home, Soft Claws may be just the thing.

  • Hello, does this product anyhow affect cat behavior? Does cat can do anything as without it (for instance – can cat leaves its scent when scratching with Soft Claws on)? That's the one of main reasons for cat scratching and cats can become depressed if they cannot leave their scent around… If it is still possible with this product, then this is really very good solution. Does it have any approval from any cat organization?

Thank you for answers in advance, I am really interested in trying and testing it.

  • Hi Damir – This is actually a product that has been discontinued, so I'm not quite sure about your questions. However, you can check the manufacturer's website at http://www.softclaws.com for more information and to give them a try!
